Paali enters deal with ASCL
The Times of India Bangalore September 30, 2001 Paali software Technologies Ltd, the city based IT company and Asian School of Cyber Laws have formed a corporate alliance to facilitate a gamut of legal as well as educational services in the fields of Information Technology, cyber law and e-security in Karnataka. According to an official release, PSTL is promoted by Murali Mohan and D.K. Adikesavulu, chairman of Karnataka Breweries and Distilleries. This strategic allegiance has been established to initiate efforts and bring about a greater awareness of cyber laws and to introduce unique and varied cyber legal services. These include providing workshops on cyber crimes, e-forensics and cyber laws to the Karnataka State Police and conducting a diploma course in Information Technology Law for the law students of BILS, Bangalore. ASCL is currently providing this course to ILS Law College, Pune and is shortly launching it for other colleges in Pune, Kerala and Karnataka. ASCL plans to conduct such workshops for the judicial body (judges) and the Karnataka prosecution department (public prosecutors) in the future, the release said. PSTL will also provide expert legal services to corporate bodies in and around Bangalore. ASCL is also one of the leading organizations offering e-Security counseling and solutions to companies. ASCL’s clients include Al-Ahgaff University, Yemen. Sn Venkateshwara University and a host of blue chip companies, according to a release.
